34 animals disbursed among disabled rural women’s

CHAKWAL: 34 deserving and disabled women have received buffalos and cows as Punjab Govt. is helping out to provide a job to these neglected women in the rural areas. The said animals were dispersed among the 34 disabled women at Municipal Stadium Chakwal in a function that was presided over by Chairman Distt. Council Malik Tariq Aslam, DG Livestock Dr. Qurban Hussain, Regional Director Ghulam Hussain Bhutta, ADC Tanver ur Rehman , Additional Director livestock Dr. Mukthar Ahmed, Vice Chairman Distt. Council Ch. Khursheed Baig, deserving women and their relatives were present on this occasion, DG Dr. Qurban Hussain speaking on this occasion told that these animals were awarded to 34 disabled women on merit and draws were taken out and Khidmat Cards are to be dispersed among the women. He further told that these animals were insured and any animal that was dispersed today died, it will be replaced. However these animals are not to be sold. He further told that livestock department would provide all out medical assistance and other facilitation to the women who got allotted Khidmat Cards. Regional Director Ghulam Hussain Bhutta told that a thorough scrutiny have been made before selecting the deserving women and a certain criteria that was laid down by the deserving women have been adopted. Chairman Distt. Council Tariq Aslam was of the view that to provide animals for the disabled women in the rural areas is a revolutionary step of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif who is making all his efforts to bring these disabled people as a useful citizen of the society.
