All set for by-election at NA-65 Chakwal-II


Chakwal: August 11 It is all set for by-election at NA-65 Chakwal-II, elected MNA on this seat Ch. Parvez Elahi vacated the seat as he was nominated Speaker Punjab Assembly by their coalition partner PTI. Ch. Parvez Elahi won the seat after bagging 155,000 votes and Ch. Parvez Elahi was the joint candidate of PML (Q) and PTI. Sardar Faiz Tamman of PML (N) bagged 106,000 votes. PPP, MMA and TLP candidates also bagged more than 45,000 votes. PML (Q) and PTI nominated Ch. Shujaat Hussain for by-election and it is likely that the grand alliance of opposition parties will bring their consensus candidate and political circles were confident that it will be a very close and keen contest on this by-election. More interestingly the Chief Minister Punjab slot is likely to be filled by Raja Yasir Sarfraz the elected MPA of PTI. Raja Yasir Sarfraz is an educationist and has the graduation degree from the Florida University of America. So far Imran Khan hinted out in the parliamentary meeting of PTI Punjab and he declared that he would bring a clean, young and educated face in Punjab and the agenda of change would start from Punjab Province. Raja Yasir Sarfraz told the newsmen that he is not well aware of the decision but it is sure that Chief Minister Punjab slot is to be announced by Chairman PTI, Imran Khan. Raja Yasir further told that the decision of Imran Khan would be acceptable to everyone and the people of Chakwal District also voted for a change and he was confident that the whole Pakistan and Chakwal District would be change in near future as PTI have a very ambitious plan and agenda to bring Pakistan into the forefront of the whole world.
