DPO Chakwal Muhammad Haroon Joya on Thursday told in Distt. Cooordination Committee meeting that law and order situation is improving considerably and the new laws made under National Action Plan (NAP) are implemented in its true spirit and with the introduction of Falcon Force street crimes and dacoitee incidents have been ended. The meeting was presided over by MPA Malik Shahr Yar Awan while MPA Mehwish Sultana, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Umar Jahangir, Chairman Distt. Council Malik Tariq Aslam Awan, Chief Executive Education Officer Dr. Ghulam Murtaza, Chief Executive officer Health, Dr. Amjad Ali Shah and all other concerned departments officer were present on this occasion. Malik Shahr Yar Awan took a serious notice of increasing road side accidents at Talagang-Mianwali Road, DPO Chakwal was directed to mobilize traffic police to control the road side accidents. Shahr Yar Awan and DC directed the concerned departments that the parliamentarians must be consulted while initiating development schemes and the equal development share is to be provided to all the parliamentarians of Chakwal Distt. Distt. Officer Planning told the meeting and briefed about the undergoing development schemes throughout the distt. it was told that to provide IT labs at high and secondary schools Chakwal has entered into decisive stage. DC also directed education and building departments to finish the repair of school buildings and funds must not be lapsed and it must be completed before 30th June 2017.
