PML (N) accepted verdict with heavy hearts


CHAKWAL: Chairman Defense Production Senate Committee Lt Gen. ( R ) Abdul Qayyum said on Saturday that Mr. Nawaz Sharif and PML (N) accepted the verdict of Supreme Court with heavy hearts and have some serious reservations, but still Mr. Nawaz Sharif is the leader of the nation and we had all the right to challenge the verdict of Supreme Court at every forum and to defend the constitutional and democratic rights of Nawaz Sharif. Talking to the media Gen. Qayyum was of the view that Anti Pakistan elements are active to destabilize Pakistan and to make hindrance at the CEPEC Project. He further told that Pakistan is a nuclear country and fighting a serious war against the terrorism and from the last four years the terrorists were forced to be on the back foot, mega projects regarding energy producing were under completion and PML (N) would have to take the credit of these projects. He was confident that the newly nominated Prime Minister Mr. Shahbaz Sharif would carry the policies of Nawaz Sharif and Mr. Nawaz Sharif would lead the country and Mr. Nawaz Sharif would be considered as man behind the guns. Gen. Qayyum was confident that the decision of Supreme Court would be a blessing in disguise and Nawaz Sharif would hit back strongly on political grounds. He suggested that opposition must join hands with the govt. to bring out election reforms, so that the coming general election must be free, fair and transparent and Gen. Qayyum predicted that PML (N) under the leadership of Mr. Nawaz Sharif would emerge absolute winner in the coming general elections.
