Chakwal: A grandfather, son and grandson were shot dead when unidentified men opened fire on them in Chakwal’s Talagang tehsil on Saturday village Dhoke Qazi in the area of Sadar Police Station Talagang while a minor 3 years old child sustained bullet injuries and he was seriously injured. 70 years old Ghulam Ali, his son Shabir Haider (40), grandson Zeeshan Haider (12) and his brother Usman Haider (3) were on their way to nearby village Jasial and suddenly 3 persons on two motorcycles appeared on the scene and they opened indiscriminate firing on them. Ghulam Ali, Shabir Haider and Zeeshan Haider died on the spot while Usman Haider was seriously injured. Rescue 1122 and Sadar Police Talagang rushed on the spot and they immediately shifted the dead bodies to THQ Hospital, Talagang. Police forces told that there was an old enmity between Rabnawaz and others with the deceased and there were cases against each other from the last 23 years. Sadar Police Talagang after having autopsy of the dead bodies registered the case against the accused and started searching them who were managed to make good their escape from the scene. Police sources told that there was a planning of this gruesome triple murder and the accused were waiting for the deceased and they were in a hideout as soon as the ill-fated family reached at a deserted place from the Dhoke, the accused immediately appeared on the scene and they gave no time to settle. It is also learnt that two of the accused were wearing masks on their faces. After a swift operation the accused who came on two motorcycles immediately disappeared from the scene.
